During VBS

Why do I need to show the safety card I was given to pick up my child?
For your child's protection only designated adults may pick up your child. This is proof to the group leader that your child is leaving with the adult of your choice. If you have lost your safety cards, please bring a picture ID and see the Registration Team in the lobby adjacent to the Worship Center.

May another adult or sibling pick up my child?
Yes.  Give the adult that you authorize to pick up your child the safety card that was given to you with the child’s name tag.  A sibling must be at least 15 years old and have the safety card to pick up their brother or sister at dismissal.

I forgot to bring the safety card with me to pick up my child. What do I do?
Bring your picture ID and go to the Registration area in the lobby adjacent to the Worship Center to obtain another safety card.

How should my child be dressed for VBS?
We ask that all children wear athletic shoes to VBS. No Flip Flops. There will be recreation time for all children.  Elementary school age children will be outside running, playing games.  Please apply sunscreen and/or insect repellent if your child requires this protection when being outside.  Our volunteers are not allowed to apply sunscreen and/or insect repellent.

What if my child becomes sick or injured during VBS? How will I be notified?
VBS does not have a nurse.  You will be contacted using the information given at registration, and 911 will be called if it is an emergency.  Please ensure that we have two emergency contacts and correct contact information.
