Baptism

Grace Baptist Church practices believer's baptism. That means that we baptize those that have professed faith in Christ (Romans 10:9-10). We believe that baptism is an outward symbol of the inward reality of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We also believe that Scripture teaches baptism by immersion (Matthew 3:13-17) and that Jesus commands baptism (Matthew 28:19-20). If you have more questions about baptism either click the Baptism Q & A button or email the appropriate contact below.

If you are an adult who is interested in taking your next step in baptism, contact Pastor Ben Knisley at for more information.

If you are a student who is interested in taking the next step in baptism, contact Youth Pastor, Ethan Young at

If your child is ready to take the next step in obedience, we have a Children's Baptism Class for them to take prior to getting baptized. This is a 4-week class typically held on Wednesday nights. If you would like more information about baptism or if you want to sign your child up for this class, email Nancy Turner, Director of Children's Ministry at
