Small Groups

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up
meeting
together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging
one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching
.
Hebrews 10:24-25

Small Groups at Grace are a place for building relationships and sharing life, growing in our faith, learning what the Bible says about living today, serving, caring, and reaching out. We have over 25 Small Groups that meet on Saturday night, Sunday morning on campus, and in homes around the community during the week. Our groups are of all different types and ages including couples, women, men, and young adults.

Ben grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee before moving to Spring Hill, Tennessee in 2001. In 2004 his family helped plant a church and the Lord called Ben to Vocational Ministry through that season in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling online through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ben served in Student Ministry for more than a decade at Crossings Ministries (Christian camp for 6-12th graders), The Bridge Church (Spring Hill, TN), Brentwood Baptist Church (Brentwood, TN), and at the Franklin Campus of Biltmore Church (Franklin, NC) before coming to Grace Baptist Church as the Outreach Pastor in 2021. He met his wife, Mackenzie in Knoxville in 2011 while in college and they were married in 2013. They lived in Nashville, TN for four years where they had their first son, Micah in 2016. After moving to Franklin, NC to serve the Franklin Campus of Biltmore Church they grew their family two more times with Caleb in 2018 and Ivy in 2020. Mackenzie is a Cosmetologist by training but is now a full-time mom to their now four children as they just welcomed their third son, Luke, to the family in 2023. Ben is an avid sports fan and follows all things Tennessee Athletics (Go Vols!) as well as the NFL. Ben loves to make and drink good coffee (Chemex pour-over is a favorite) and can most often be found reading. In January of 2024, Grace Baptist Church called Ben to serve as the 3rd Senior Pastor in the history of the church. Ben believes that God has called every follower of Jesus to make disciples who make disciples and that the best way to accomplish this mission is to plant churches that plant churches.
