Ethan Young
Youth Pastor
Ethan grew up in Spokane, Washington, got his BA. in Biblical Studies from Sterling college in Kansas, and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. While at seminary he focused on Muslim refugee ministry by participating in a three-year intensive refugee internship and lived missionally in refugee housing. From 2019-2021 he pastored two Vietnamese youth groups in the Carolinas and in January of 2022 Ethan started his role as youth pastor at GBC. He is married to Emily and they have their son Elikai and one soon on the way. The DC area is their new favorite thing to explore with the many parks and free museums located around.
